I purchased this bowl a few weeks ago and so far it has been WONDERFUL for feeding our 6 month old marathon eating dachshund puppy. Prior to this he was feasting at an alarming rate causing himself to belch out loud after a meal, sounding more like a grown man than a 12 pound pup. Now the big boys finish before him and no longer have their food taken over by the speedy kibble bandit. The color is great too! I ordered the green bowl and it’s a softer more neutral sage-ish color. This review was not part of a promotion, just my honest opinion.
It’s a good size bowl for my dog to eat and has to walk very little around the bowl to eat his food. It now takes him 5 min to eat it his food instead of less than a min (30sec). The bowl moves just a tiny bit if you don't use the rubber pads. Other then that I recommend the bowl if you want your dog to take it’s time eating their food.

This has been perfect for my 7 week old boxer mix, but I think it'll be great as he gets bigger too so not just for small dogs or puppies. He was taken from his mom way too early so he eats every meal like it's his last and will make himself sick. Before this I had to give him one spoon of food at a time.. now I get to walk away and get solid 10 minutes where I know he's not getting into trouble. It could be heavier because he still manages to move it off the mat I got separately while he's eating even with the rubber grippies on the bottom but still a great dish.
My dogs definitely needed this. They were treating food as if it was their last meal and eating it less than 30 seconds… it was causing them to choke where we would have to burp them everytime. This was definitely a great investment. It took them about 4-5 minutes each to finish their food. And they didn’t need to be burped after!!! Thank you Amazon.
